The family originally came from Bavaria, in southern German. It is believed to have been Felban, then.
At the time there was an altercation with authorties over on the Telban’s invention of a double-barrelled gun. The Telban family began burying their possessions in the mountains, and then at the appropriate time fled south to Sovodenj, Austria. (later to be called Slovenja, Jugoslavia). They later returned to get their possessions back.
Sovodenj is located in the western province of Slovenia in the Julian Alps, near Ljubljana.
Joanes (John) Trax had two brothers, Andrej (Andrew) and Tona.
Andrej was the father of three children, Lovro (Lawrence), Blaz and Franc (Frank).
More information on John Telban brothers and children to come.
