Hi, I am Carrie Trax and the great-granddaughter of Joanes (John) William Telban Sr. I have been doing our family history since 2008. Before me my great aunt, Catherine Telban and my aunt, Rose Marie Telban Leslie, The Telban Historians, put together a family history book in 1979. With the information from that book and many years of me collecting information, pictures and stories I have created the Telban Family History website. With modern times and being able to share online and the Telban history is changing daily creating this website will be a place to keep our Telban family current for all to see.
Great-grandfather Joanes Telban or John as everyone knew him by is the “Root” of our American Family Tree. He is were we will begin the Tree and go forward with his descendants but I will also share were are ancestors came from in Slovenia.
This Telban Family History website is for all of us to share who we are amd what we have accomplished. Share stories from the past and present, pictures of you, your family and also pictures of other families on this website.
